Approach to Therapy:

Therapy is a place that requires us to be brave, and I admire anyone who is even considering taking the first step. I understand that jumping into therapy can sometimes be a complex and challenging decision, but as your therapist, it is a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey. I believe that my clients are the experts in their lives, and I’m here to challenge and support you while providing compassion and curiosity. No problem is too big or too small for us to explore together. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, non-judgment, humor, and collaboration. I aspire to build a safe, authentic, and honest relationship with each of my clients. I am interested in a holistic approach, integrating mindfulness, somatic/bodywork, psychoeducation, parts work, and play.

Humans are resilient. We all innately possess the ability to heal. Working with me looks like being a part of a team, and together we will figure out what therapy looks like for you. We will create a space where you feel empowered to explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, leading to lasting positive change. Vulnerability is a courageous step in healing, and it is an honor to be entrusted with your story.

Clinical Interests:

I work with individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges and transitions. I’m interested in working with those struggling with grief, loss, self-esteem, perinatal issues, anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about working with couples and other relational units. Relationships of all kinds are integral to our life experiences and play a big part in shaping who we are, and I am here to help navigate them.

As a queer woman, I prioritize providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community. I am also sex-positive and kink-affirming. It is crucial for me to be aware of and continuously explore my clients’ intersecting identities, such as gender, culture, race, sexuality, religion, and ability.

Education and Training:

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy at Adler University. I am Level 1 Gottman trained and working towards receiving my certificate in Sex Therapy. My background includes working with children to develop their social and emotional skills through play, storytelling, art, and music. I have also worked with families from different backgrounds in their transition to parenthood. I am an AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy) member.

3 Things I Love:

I love traveling (Especially to National Parks!), singing & dancing, and animals!
