Clinical Interests:

I provide therapy for individuals, couples, groups, and families. I have a background in and passion for supporting those navigating life transitions, anxiety, grief & trauma, ADHD, and the general heaviness of life. I am particularly interested in working with individuals and couples experiencing infertility and all of the uncertainty, frustration, and pain that can come with that journey. I practice from an affirming perspective and welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.

I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, integrating Adlerian, Feminist, and strengths-based theories.

Education and Training:

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Purdue University and master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. I also hold a master’s in Public Service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. I am currently working towards certification in Animal Assisted Therapy, and look forward to bringing this unique and transformative modality to AACG.

3 Things I Love:

My dog Parker, exploring new places with my husband, and the complete works of Will Ferrell.

Approach to Therapy:

Working with me means entering a warm, empathetic space filled with encouragement and understanding, where we'll build a strong, trusting relationship. Here, you can truly be yourself, knowing that we’ll navigate every challenge together with care and collaboration. I also believe humor can be healing.

From an early age, I knew I wanted to spend my life helping people, and for 15+ years that was my focus working in the nonprofit world. The transition to becoming a therapist was sparked by the need I saw on both a professional and personal level to invest in mental health and wellness. My goal is to help people work through their challenges so that they can live their most fulfilling, authentic lives. Whether you are navigating relationships, experiencing grief and loss, making big life changes, or making your way through past trauma, I am here to provide a safe place and an encouraging ear.
